Our trip began with a 17 hour flight to Dubai from Auckland.The plane ride was rough with sleep being at minimal, six hour at best.Dubai was hot and very dusty.We were in Dubai for roughly five hours.We continued to on with our journey with a five hour flight to Greece.When purchasing a bus ticket we were meet with some rather rude Greek customs. Overall Greece was bit of a hole but still a pretty unreal experience.
Overall I thought Italy was a lot better than Greece, socially, economically, evironmentally pretty much in every way better.When touching down in Italy on a excruciating long and hot boat road at 1am I finally got to sleep on the cold floor only to be rudely to be awaken by the police.Rome was nice but fairly expensive compared to Greece.There was an exorbitant amount of churches, some fairly average was others were brilliant. Colosseum was insane but smaller than what I expected however was still quite extraordinary. The weather is nek level hot.Florence was a lot quieter than Rome with less tourists but at the same time less attractions.
